We had a fabulous carol concert on the 18th December at St John’s church in Barlaston. The choir sang beautifully and the brass band Acceler8 played perfectly Christmassy music. We gave a wonderful performance of Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on a Christmas Carol with a super baritone soloist Tony O’Rourke. Well done to all. Thank you to our musicians Harriet and Jenny for making our choir so well thought of in the area.
The Crown Wharf pub invited us to sing as part of their Christmas events and we thoroughly enjoyed singing in their theatre bar. A great time was had by both singers and pub goers.
